Royal College of Art (RCA), has unveiled an art installation for the public by its architecture students. Wembley Windows is a sculptural steel track, placed on a wooden bench which invites passersby to interact with the structure. It’s designed to connect the various local stakeholders of Wembley Park.
RCA is an institution that focuses on design and double glazed window fine arts that was founded in 1837. In recent years, it has seen major changes as it tries to cope with the decline in state funding for higher education. However, it is still committed to fine art and design.
A collaboration between RCA, Brent Council led to the creation of a brand new public art piece.
