A Non-Diet Approach to an awesome Breakfast

Lots of chronic dieters start every day with a renewed sense of hope that “today is the morning I am going to stick to my diet.” Breakfast then becomes the purely natural beginning for any diet, meal plan, healthy diet vow, etc. Today, I’m all for beginning every day with a good outlook, but at times, in regards to the diet plan of ours, we shoot for perfection and it backfires. For instance, when someone starts a new diet they sometimes put a heap of power into prepping and planning the meals of theirs. They might actually wake up early to make certain they’ve time for the perfect breakfast. As time goes by they might start to delay food prep and start hitting the snooze button a few times and just before you know it they’re directlyto a refined grab’ n go breakfast, the drive through or worse yet – skipping breakfast all together.

A real Life Example of How Simple a great Breakfast Can Be:

Recently while helping a customer plan several dishes I pulled out my [ imaginary] magic wand and asked her “If you could eat everything you wanted for breakfast without having to worry about your weight, one thing would hold you sustained through the morning and that you would like eating, what can i do to lose weight fast without exercise – check here – would that be?” She reported back that her favorite breakfast is eggs, whole grain toast with real coffee and butter with cream. She in addition proceeded to say this breakfast is simple for her to plan, she likes it, and also she feels happy through the morning when she eats this. Regardless of this, she was a tad shocked when I mentioned “okay, we’ll start your breakfast meal plan with eggs, toast and coffee”. She felt she had to stay away from carbs and up her veggies and protein at breakfast to slim down. I did prove to her to add in many fruit in case she wanted it but she really had already found a breakfast that had been going to fit her. As I’m sure you have heard me say before, permanent results are about consistency not perfection.

I would like to share some practical breakfast recommendations that will hopefully help you break the yo yo diet cycle and shift your focus to feeling good and fueling the body of yours with foods you enjoy.
