Ask the seller whether there is a warranty and for how long the warranty applies to your car parts. Also ask whether there are any conditions on the warranty. One such condition may be that they be installed by a licensed mechanic.

The last place that you can look is in the local junk yard. This will have many cars and auto parts that you can pick from for your bumper needs. You may be able to get one for a great low price if you are willing to go and take it off of the car that you are working with. This can be an ordeal, but you can do it in a weekend if you have the right tools and the right auto parts for it.

He doesn’t always find what he wants, but he has been able to pull several starters off from some of the junkers. Some work, some don’t while others may work for awhile and then crap out a few months later. If you have plenty of time and luck is on your side then this can be an option for you.
