To measure blood glucose levels in clinics and hospitals, various enzymatic methods and electrochemical methods have been established. However, the existing methods require a number of operations and have a high cost. Therefore, the development of a novel point-of-care blood glucose monitoring device with a small size, low cost, and short measurement time is desired. In this study, we developed a new blood glucose level measurement method using a glucose meter that uses a polymer light-emitting diode (PLED). This glucose meter has a capacity to rapidly measure glucose in a limited period of time by employing the Raman spectroscopy based on visible PLED light detection. In addition, we confirmed that it can measure blood glucose by analyzing the Raman spectra of blood components. However, blood samples are often turbid and contain various foreign materials. Therefore, this study aims to improve the sensitivity of Raman spectroscopy and to clarify the influence of the turbidity on the glucose measurement. We evaluated the PLED-based blood glucose measurement method using Raman spectroscopy and performed quantitative analysis of the glucose concentration of turbid blood samples. Based on the Raman spectra, we found that the glucose concentration of the turbid blood samples can be accurately measured. The results of this study indicate that the new glucose meter can be used as a practical device for measuring blood glucose concentrations in clinics and hospitals.Q:
User in Visual Studio can not compile project
I was trying to create a MVC project in visual studio 2010 on my local drive. But when I try to add anything in a view, VS shows an error message “unable to access a needed assembly”. That assembly is located in a folder with same name as the project. I had a couple of blank projects that I tried with similar error messages but then I found out that I am using SSD and the error occurs on a separate hard drive.
I also tried a new project with the same name of the folder but when I try to add anything in a view VS shows the same error message.
