That’s the biggest surprise Freelancer has to offer. If you buy into the universe and the levels of management that come with the game, you’ll find out that all those hours you spent blowing things up were actually worthwhile. As mentioned, the variety means that you’ll never get bored, but the best part is that there’s always a lot to do.

I’m not saying you have to buy Freelancer, but if you do, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. You should go grab it now before you miss out on all the interesting parts, after all. I know I’ve certainly picked up some cool upgrades in my time, ones that I’ve spent quite a lot of time getting in. Yes, it’s expensive, but, then so is EVE Online. Now that’s a kind of investment.

Freelancer is great for any casual space sim fans who might find themselves tempted to buy EVE Online. The game has wayne better graphics, music and voice overs, much nicer interfaces and much better gameplay. And oh yeah, you can’t kill each other. Worst of all, you can’t advertise or sell.
