The city of ground to a halt on Wednesday morning after a VW kombi servisi van burst into flames on the West Gate Bridge.
The vehicle was near Williamstown Road when it caught alight, causing traffic chaos on the main thoroughfare from Melbourne’s western suburbs to the city centre.
